'As men, we all suffer from similar areas of tension that some females just don't get. We are quite often lucky to gain strength quickly, but lack in natural flexibility. We focus on our affinity with strength and then pay the price with stiffness.

This class will look at opening the hips and shoulders whilst building core and arm strength to aid in the progression of our practice and unite and stabilise the entire body. We will warm up through some sun salutations to begin to learn how to connect our breath and movement, allowing the affected tissues to soften and lengthen mindfully, naturally and safely.

There will be some inversion/arm balance work to broaden the mind and explore outside of comfort zones and to learn to incorporate some fun new ways of using the strength we will be building on. We will use Yin techniques when working on hip flexibility to go deeper into the body and the connective tissues with a mindful focus on staying present.'



This class is open to all levels of practitioner, from total beginner to advanced yogi, all will benefit and are welcome.
